Sinopsis
Japón, siglo 22. La oficial de policia, Masane Amou, se convierte en la ultima de una antigua linea de valerosas mujeres guerreras destinada a usar una poderosa arma misteriosa conocida como "Witchblade", para continuar en una interminable pelea contra las terribles fuerzas del mal.
Masane Amaha y su hija Rihoko, escapan de la Agencia de Protección de Menores la cual desea apartar a Rihoko lejos de su madre. Ambas son capturadas y Rihoko es tomada de vuelta. Mientras tanto, en la cárcel, Masane es atacada por una arma avanzada, cuando está de frente con el peligro, una luz extraña emitida de su muñeca hace que se transforma en un ser poderoso llamado Witchblade
